Hi All,

Does the ANA Suites Lounge in NRT have L'Occitane shower kits like the HND club does (or so I've heard)?

Or is it generic toiletries?

Thanks!

If memory serves correctly, they now use Thann instead of l'Occitane. But either way, it's not the generic single-use sachets.

When I was at the NRT Suite Lounge in May they were using Thann (four bottles in a plastic zip bag).

Sounds good! Thanks!

It was four small bottles in a plastic bag last week, but it wasn't a brand name that I was familiar with.

My largest recollection is that the shower rooms were far too warm.

+1

They still have the generic single use sachets inside the shower room, it is only if they see you have a F boarding pass, then they give you the Thann kit separate at the counter.

Because Thann is not a US brand name and they don't have any stores in the US yet, you would see their stores all over Asia like Thailand (where it made from), Hong Kong, and Japan. They have stores in Canada, Europe, and Australia as well.

If you fly TG in premium classes, you would definately familiar with this brand.

Yes you end up dressing with the door ajar

I didn't... I thought the temperature was just fine and certainly didn't have the door open while dressing.

Travelling on 08-Jan-12 with a J-class boarding pass, I just had the single use toiletry sachets.

This was not in the Suite Lounge, I assume?

I entered the doors and took a right to the showers, so correct just before you enter the lounge.

The question was, which "doors" did you enter, and which "lounge" were these showers just before? The Suites lounge (4th floor), or the Business lounge (2nd floor)?

This is normal, nothing new. NH had been using those shower packets for C lounge pax since they moved to T1 years ago.

Did any of you read my post #6 above ?

The Thann kit was NOT placed inside the shower room automatically, not to mention at NH lounge by gate 50s, F and C share the same shower rooms !

Because I have an addiction to these shower amenities, and Thann is so new to me, I had even ventured to NH F lounge by gate 40s to get a second one, and they had the same practice as well despite F and C use separate showers at different floors ! They still have to see your F boarding pass at the shower counter before they will give you the Thann kit !

Yes, of course we did. There's no need to overreact. But, for example, if the poster was an NH DIA, he would have access to the F showers even with a C BP, so we wanted to clarify.

I think the shower attendant only look at the boarding pass F or C to determine you get the Thann kit or not espeically in the lounge by the 50s where F and C share the same showers.

Actually, as a DIA I received the Thann kit the other day when I showed them my Y BP. But I know that I'm not the most typical example...

Provided there are relatively few # of DIA's, I'm sure the shower attendant sees a list of F's and DIA's who have entered the Suite Lounge that day to know who to hand Thann kits to. Doesn't this seem valid?

Back when I was PLT, I was never given a L'Occitane kit.

Just went to the showers in Ana lounge S1 NRT. Here is a pic. For F boarding you get a Thann kit. The stuff in the disposable packs is for everyone. Still very blah compared to the LH F showers.

Unless you are talking about Etro in LH FCT or FCL in FRA, but Etro only exist in FRA and nowhere else, any other LH F lounge showers use the toiletries a 2 star hotels would use. Not to mention, despite LH wellcome lounge in FRA has Loccitane, but those are in big bottles, no individual kit.

I mean the facility overall is better elsewhere. The shampoo isn't a big deal to me.

If it's too warm for you, go to the UA showers. As I recall, they have a standing fan in the room. ;)

It only gets too warm in summer - that's when the showers at RCC are better because of the stand fan they provide. It's not the NH lounge specifically, the whole airport is warm (saving A/C), as is the RCC as well.

Otherwise it's fine.
