Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - LGW-IST and IST-PEK in J

Hey guys, what kind of seat is on LGW-IST in buz? Its an A321

and on IST-PEK on the new 777, will I have enough privacy from my neighbor?

traveling alone, does the arm rest really come up high enough to act as a privacy divider?

any seat tips on this overnight flight to enjoy maximum peace + quiet?

also got 4 hour layover at IST anything I can do in town during that time? free transit tour? [bored of the lounge]

LGW-IST will be an economy seat with blocked middle seat. Great food though.
Lounge in IST is fantastic, one of the best *G lounges in the system. Plenty of stuff to do for 4 hours...
If IST-PEK is served by a 777, then it should be a great flight. I would choose a window seat on rows 2 or 3, but other opinions might vary.

If it's a321 and this is brand new route it could be the new European config with great seats. I have used the privacy divider only when sleeping and it comes high enough that you have your own space.

You are not guaranteed a good A321 on the LHR flights served by the A321, so why would you be guaranteed one on LGW which is a less premium route (having myself just stepped off one of the crappy ones), Calex is most probably correct.

Like i said It could be because it's a new route and i believe they would try to make good impression in the beginning. TK and guaranteed product? :D

I think that the chances are higher for the new config but i would mentally prepare for the average experience.
