All Nippon Airways Mileage Club - ANA tickets from MR points

Hi there,

I will be in Kyoto in January, but would like to see the snow in Hokkaido. Regular plane tickets seem to be ~$1000 round trip. However, best I can understand domestic tickets require very few ANA miles.

A few newbie questions:

If I go KIX-CTS-TYO in mid January, is this 16,000 miles per person (2 segments at 600-1600 miles?)

Are double open jaws allowed (for example) KIX-CTS/AKJ-HND ?

Finally, how long would it take to transfer AMEX MR points?

Domestic flight pass costs 10000(USD130) - 13000Yen per segement, assuming your travel dates don't fall within the blackout period.

i believe you have to be a non resident..go to japan-guide.com and type in something like cheap ana,jal tickets for foreigners. there are restrictions and blackouts dates

your local travel should be able to sell it to you.. like Flightcenter.
They will need to see your other ticket to determine what the costs is for you.
