I am booked on a Staralliance reward ticket through aeroplan that begins and ends in Montreal (YUL) but I live in Ottawa. My outbound flight is on AC, but I return to YUL on LX via ZRH. Swissair operates the Swissbus (http://www.swiss.com/countries/CA/en/local_content/news/Pages/swissbus_ottawa.aspx) as LX7491 and LX 7490 between YUL and the Ottawa train station for Ottawa PAX flying into YUL. As I could not book the Swissbus as part of my staralliance reward, do you know if I can aquire a "boarding pass" for the bus for my flight in April? I asked LX customer service and they were not even aware of the bus service.
Thank you.

Not sure how it is for the *A bus but it could be similar to the bus operated for the AF/KL flights. I know from having had a relative take the AF bus (Ottawa to YUL) that the driver only asks for the name/a print out of the ticket then you board the bus, no boarding pass is issued or required.

I've seen this bus show up on Expertflyer as part of a Swiss availability search from Ottawa to ZRH, via YUL. The trick is you have to search from XDS (Ottawa Rail Station), where the bus leaves from, rather than YOW (the airport).
I'm guessing you my have booked through Aeroplan, and would guess that their site wouldn't support this, but it might be possible that an agent could query XDS and the "flight" would show.
