Hi Everyone,
I will be going on a cruise from Vancouver to Whittier Alaska...
Now looking for flights...
Tell me if you guys think this is good:
IAH-YVR
19 JUL, 2012
CABIN: FIRST

Now, when we're coming back is the problem
We're supposed to leave on the 31st morning from Fairbanks and be in Houston by 31st night, but I cant find anything without too long or too short of a connection time.
I don't care what airline, as long as it fits the criteria above.

Can you all help?

Thanks,
iluvairlines :p

Tough!

How early could you leave Fairbanks?? When leaving at 8:40, you could be in Houston around midnight....

Or you take the red-eye at 1:30 and arrive in Houston around 3:40 pm....

Try using a third-party booking engine to find this. It may involve two (2) carriers.

Some examples:

AS0128 FAI SEA 0130A 0557A
CO1510 SEA IAH 0830A 0245P

DL1246 FAI MSP 0600A 0216P
CO4169 MSP IAH 0430P 0718P

DL1246 FAI MSP 0600A 0216P
DL2126 MSP IAH 0745P 1044P

I would love to leave Fairbanks on the earliest flight of the morning or the last night flight the night before (30th)

Since the OP seems to be open to an intinerry that includes other carriers than CO/UA, I will move this to the Alaska (Travel) Forum. I am sure the regulars there are familiar with the flight options and schedules from FAI and can add their advice.

What is the earliest you can leave on the 30th?

Also, it sounds like you are on a Princess cruisetour (which only allows for 4 nights to get you from Whittier to Fairbanks). I trust you fully understand what you are purchasing, that you hopefully have two nights at Denali Princess Lodge, that you realize the McKinley Princess Lodge is in the middle of nowhere (a 2-hour round trip from the nearest town and a 3 hour drive from Denali National Park). I also hope that you realize by taking the Natural History Tour you basically get to see very, very little of Denali National Park. Forearmed is forewarned.

We can't leave before early evening (5 PM at least)

Thank you

We have actually changed our plans...
We didn't want to leave early so we're going to leave on the 31st night and arrive in Houston on the 1st of August early morning (6AM, or something like that)

Thanks and Merry Christmas,

Don't know if you booked yet, but to throw a total monkeywrench into your plans, CO/UA will be starting a daily DEN-FAI during the summer months this year.

Thanks for letting me know.
I actually just read about that.
Unfortunately, we've already booked!
