JetBlue has signed a deal with Singapore Airlines to provide interline connectivity at both JFK and EWR, allowing through ticketing and baggage for onward connections to the SIN-EWR and JFK-FRA-SIN flights operated by SQ.

if this was a FFM benefit or a codeshare benefit, then B6 deserves a pat on the back. However, its not. You can pretty much have an interline agreement with any aliance/airline. This news isn't so great in the grand scheme of things.

Agreed that FF reciprocity would be better. So would codesharing or fare construction that isn't simply end-on-end fares. But neither of those happened.

That said, it is still somewhat a big deal considering that JetBlue has had VERY limited interline options overall. Being able to have such connections is better than not, and in that regard it is certainly good news.
