Iberia Airlines Iberia Plus - Searching for open award seats on IB

I just booked 2 award tickets to Spain, MCI-DFW-MAD on 10/23/12 and out of Portugal LIS-MAD-DFW-MCI on 11/07/12. I have enough AA points for business class but only coach seats are available at this point. There is only 1 business seat released so far DFW-MAD and I did get it. I'm on AA flights now, but would switch to IB flights if biz seats become available on the TATL segments. I can check online for business award seats on AA flights, but IB awards don't show up there.
Is there someway to monitor availability of IB award seats without having to call AA every day to see if seats have been released? Can I do it through IB's web site? Or BA's web site? If I saw them available online then I'd call and have AA rebook us into business class. It's easy for me to check AA availability online every day as I'm the computer all day at work. But having to make a phone call every day for 10 months would get old very fast.

You can check availability on Iberia's site. Not sure if you must have an account, but it's not necessary to have miles to search.
You can check on ba.com too, but it's more difficult, as it searches partner flights only if there are no seats on BA flights available.
Don't know if ExpertFlyer shows IB awards, but if it does, you can create alerts and not search every day yourself (must pay subscription to use this).

Don't count on award availability on IB website to be the same as what would be available to you using AA miles! Before the conversion of IBPlus points to Avios, I found J seats on IB using AA miles which I could not using IB points and Y seats on IB which I could not find using AA miles.
I suspect this is due to the then anomaly with the way IB priced its own award seats (J relatively cheap, Y relatively expensive) but this could have changed since the Avios conversion.

Any idea how far in advance IB releases award seats in J? My trip is 10 months out and where AA has released at least one J seat, IB has released none. I figured out how to search on BA website but am wondering when to actually start checking.

IB seems to do married pair logic to awards especially with AA. AA found no awards for MAD-JFK but search for BCN-MAD-JFK or FRA-MAD-JFK and it becomes available.

Does IB even release J seats intra-Europe??
ZRH-MAD tomorrow night. J8 and not a single seat selected in a 10 seat cabin, yet no award seats offered per EF and BA.com.
