And the chances to get an paid upgrade at check-in

I don't know if EY offered paid upgrades at check-in but if they do, odds look good.

question to the community when you request paid upgrades at check-in do you pay full price for the upgrade or is it discounted?

Hey, I am really excited right now and I will write you from AUH.
I don't know if it'll be discounted or full fare.
However, I would appreciate it to have a lie-flat from AUH- Jakarta! :-)

Hello everyone, already checked in in FRA, asked for paid upgrade
And it is 398 € FRA-AUH, I asked him for an upgrade
from AUH-CGK and he said, I should try it in AUH and
that they are going to offer me it there. He checked the availability and there
are some seats left in Pearl Zone. Wish me luck! Boarding is in 45 mins.

I am in Jakarta right now. Had a good sleeping time in the plane!
$380 AUH-CGk.
I asked after leaving the plane at the "flight transfer deck" for the upgrade.
They told me, I would not have lounge access, but I tried and it worked without any problems.
I think it was worth it: 6 hrs Stopover in Pearl Lounge and 9hrs flight Business Class seat (the seat next to me was empty so I had more space I could propably use).
Very nice experience!
yes, that was a good deal! And certainly much better than upgrading FRA-AUH!
