Hong Kong and Macau - Any Yeo's Chrysanthemum tea available HKG airside to avoid check-in?

That may be an unusual post and mod can close if inappropriate.

I'll fly to SHA this Friday and will stay at a friend's house. She's an Asian from Germany and for some reason crazy about the tetra-pack Chrysanthemum tea (can be any brand). So when asking whether to bring anything from HKG, that was the first she mentioned. No idea whether it's really not available in Shanghai or not, but happy to do that small favour.

However, since it's only for a weekend I feel stupid having to check-in my carry-on trolley which serves in parallel as a convenient carrier for my rather heavy laptop bag as well (over the handle).

So to avoid checking in only for Chrysanthemum tea: Does anyone know by chance whether it's available from Mannings or 7-ELEVEN stores airside? I know they should sell other beverages like water, but not sure about that kind of tea.

Damn liquids restrictions!

There's no 7-11 in air side and I don't aware there's any Chrysanthemum tea available on airside

Since this topic is not related to CX, to make it CX related, there are Chrysanthemum teas with honey available at the health bar at CX Cabin lounge near gate 23.. :D

Thanks anyways, roquejo! :D

And thanks cxfan1960 for moving.

I just remembered that there are two Mannings stores airside, but don't recall whether they sell any beverages... maybe I'll get there and check on the Mannings landside whether they can call their counterparts airside - if that all doesn't work, then may have to check-in after buying from a 7-11 landside.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

Well to be exact: Yeo's product is mission impossible
Vita product is pretty much standard for 7-11

Thanks everyone!

Googled and found the 7-11 at Skypier earlier already. But that's the one when taking the ferry to Macau, etc. - I don't think that you can enter that area without ferry ticket, and even when buying a dummy ticket to return to the flight gates afterwards.

I explained to her and was 'allowed' to bring some cigarettes from duty-free. When rushing from The Pier lounge to gate 48, I found around gate 44 (can't recall exact location) a health shop selling some teas in plastic bottles. The had indeed Chrysanthemum tea with honey - surely not as sweet as the sugar-laden Yeo's or Vita's (brand doesn't matter), but definitely healthier.

So I was able to only travel on carry-on, which was really good since the flight had 1 full hour delay due to "technical problems"... Only 15 minutes from touch-down to taxi rank!
