Anyone have recommendations for worthy Asian groceries in the ATL area, maybe around the NW perimeter? I'm looking for good coverage of East, SE, and South Asian foods - all under one roof would be perfect, but no problem if not.
Any recommendations for best sushi supplies?
Thanks!
Not sure of anything in the NW part of town, but Buford Highway Farmer's Market has a good selection of Asian foods. H Mart is not bad either. Farmer's market is on Buford Highway (duuh..) just north of I-285 on left. H mart has several locations, one near Peachtree Industrial exit on I-285 (go south and it's on the left) or on Pleasant Hill Rd. in Gwinnett county (west on Pleasant Hill when you get off of I-85.
I've never been in the store, but there is a Japanese store called Tomato which shares a building with Sushi Yoko on the access road beside Peachtree Industrial Blvd north of I-285.

Thanks, I'll definitely check out the Buford Highway Farmer's Market, looks exactly like the type of place I was hoping to find. Didn't know there was a Japanese store there, another thing to check out.
Thanks again!

Just wanted to followo up and say big THANK YOU for recommending the Buford Highway Farmer's Market. It was amazing, I can definitely see us making regular trips from BNA just to stock up on stuff.
Glad you liked it! We go every week for one thing or another. Tons of good restaurants up and down Buford Highway near there.
