Instead of having a new thread everytime WestJet adds a partner, we can just use this one.
JAL is now codesharing on domestic service to Vancouver.

good news each one of these codeshares is another nail in AC coffin.

Maybe. But I haven't yet seen any sign of competitiveness on fares on AA codeshares. Usually, what I see is $200-300 more on WS/AA. Greater reach into the US is a good thing, of course, but I don't see how they will sell many tickets when they aren't coming anywhere close to UA/AC fares. Maybe the DL deal will change that. Now that I've freed myself from AC Elite status I'm pretty much open to anything and I would definitely choose WS/DL/AA if the fare and itinerary are good.

I used a First ticket on AA from LHR to JFK a few months back and YIKES it was horrid, and I am only comparing them to NA airlines. THis week i used JFK-YYZ and got a brand new CR7, so one advantage of AA in a few years is that it will have a new fleet of narrow body aircraft with 450 new planes on order.
However lets see what happens after Chapter 11. Also with AC expected to go in CCAA receivership after getting the contract signed by pilots, this might be an interesting fall with AC.

The part I look forward to is:
Members of the Delta Air Lines' SkyMiles® program and WestJet's Frequent Guest Program® will be able to earn miles or rewards on the codeshare flights, providing customers another benefit of the enhanced relationship.
but I query whether it is full mileage earning... (even if they are SkyPesos)...

Add United to the list.
Add United to the list.
That's as an interline partner, I take it? That's an interesting one given AA and DL are code sharing.
Edit to add: found the answer on the WS website: interline agreement with UA. That should open up some interesting possibilities.

Add interline with US Airways. Looks like WestJet now has agreements with the 4 US legacy carriers plus Alaska.
