Hi
I need some info about good hotel search/compare engines. I found this one http://www.worldhotelsdeals.com , any other?
Thanks

Personally, I like to use www.trivago.com as it shows all prices with tax included already, unlike many other comparison engines.

I just found a situation where the best rate was on the hotel's web site. Always worth checking there.
Lately, www.booking.com has been yielding a bit better results for me. But there is also vernere, good old kayak, expedia, travelocity, hostelbookers, orbitz, hotels, hotelsclick, and a whole host of others.
The stickie at the top of this area has some more, just to get you in the habit of checking the stickies on Flyertalk.

You sound as if that is the exception rather than the rule. Isn't it almost always the case that the hotel is cheapest on the hotel's own website? (Ignoring opaque sales, of course.)

Nope, I usually see the hotel "rack rate" or web site rate as much higher than places like Expedia.
Las Vegas is one place where the casino hotels seem to have sales and coupons and such that can be better than the more general web sites.
To add to my list, I've been enjoying using www.room77.com lately.

(removed this post to avoid more confusion)
These type of threads make me nervous. First, new posters (who are very welcomed) leave links. Then, others may have business reasons for their recommendation. Caveat Emptor.

That's a hotel in Italy… Did you really mean to post a link to a hotel site?
Oops - www.room77.com I meant to say. I've edited my original post also.
Sorry.
No business listings from me, except as a happy customer. I'm retired.
