I have a reservation with Alamo for a convertible for 9 days to pick up at MIA and return to the same location, but then I wanted to change it to return at MCO but when I tried to do that it says "no cars avaliable". I called the reservation center and they were not able to do it, they told me to get the car then change the location but she would not guarantee that I would not have to pay extra, but she said that usually in between Miami and Orlando there are no fees.
Does anyone know the policy for one way rentals between MIA and MCO?

Thanks

Thx. :-) That's all I needed to know. I got two different answers for the reservation center.

Alamo's web site can be screwy. Last month I had a two week rental MCO - RSW for about $300. I needed to change the pickup to 6 hours earlier. The website quoted me a new rate of $1000 to change the existing res. I just laughed, searched for a new reservation for my new pickup time, and got a rate of $160 for the two weeks. Stunned at the discount, I booked that one, and simply cancelled the old res. IME there's never a drop fee in FL with Alamo. Just had a friend book a one way, one day rental from TPA-RSW for $21, including taxes.
