SkyTeam - Gol coming............(maybe)

Delta just bought 3% of Gol, gets a seat on the board, so I suppose that we will be seeing a lot more cooperation between them and their eventual entry into Skyteam.

Delta said that the 3% isn't to entice GOL into skyteam, they bought 3% so that GOL would not be able to consider any other alliance in the future (Don't understand how such a small percentage can control GOL's decisions)

Side agreement perhaps. OTOH by them saying that makes me believe that it is in the cards.

Well it certainly makes it unlikelier that Gol with join any of the other alliances:

I don't see it happening anytime soon unless GOL will ever considering to join any alliance. If GOL will ever join Skyteam or Star Alliance.

That will be a logical choice for GOL. They have to choose.
