Asia - Tokyo area hotel and HND-NRT connection

Hey all,

I know this isn't the right forum, but I'm unsure what the right forum is, and I'd like to get advice from friends first anyways... ;)

In January, my dad and I are flying on Aeroplan YYC-LAX-ICN, GMP-HND, NRT-ORD-IAH-YYC. All in F/J.

The two overnights are in ICN/GMP & HND/NRT. I'm looking for good hotel recommendations.

We arrive in ICN @ 18:10, depart from GMP the next day @ 20:15. We will take the airport train into the city. This is January 11-12.

Now this is the tricky one - we arrive into HND @ 22:15, depart from NRT the next day @ 11:20. I'd like to take public transportation between the two airports, so I assume sleeping near HND would be the better option? Help please. :) This is January 12-13.

There aren't any more night spent in hotels anywhere else, so that's all the advice I need for this trip. :)

NRT has a plethora of competing hotels, easy to find lower rates; HND has one hotel on airport grounds and one nearby, others coming - not as easy to find cheap rates. Japan Forum is a good place to check further.
