Hilton HHonors - AGNT bonus not credited b/c not targeted?

I was not targeted but called as soon as other non-targeted FTers wrote that they called and were signed up. Still, no bonus points have posted although I've had three stays since. Has anyone who was not targeted experienced this?

Not targeted -- posted promptly. Perhaps that agent who told you that you had been registered was incorrect? It has happened that the agents honestly believe they've registered the client, but what they did never "took".

Called the European Service Centre (Glasgow).
Agent said I was not targeted and denied the credit.

I suspect this is the case. Try registering again. Mine posted with no problem within a few days of my first stay. I definitely was not targeted.

Registered both my wife and myself without being targetted, points posted promptly.

Edited to add that the first agent politely refused to add the promotion, even though she was correcting a mistake that another agent made on my account. I was pleasant and thank her for take care of someone else's mistake.

Called back another day, different agent cheerfully added the promotion to both of our accounts.

I called twice and spoke to two different service agents and was told both times that it was a targeted promotion that I didn't qualify for. Bummer.

How odd, I was certainly not targeted, but points posted promptly after my next visit. Try calling again, that allways seems to work for me!

I had to try a couple of times.

The first agent was quite firm in her absolute refusal to consider enrolling me. The next one acted as though she were getting a bonus based upon the number of members she could add!
