I said that there are very few US hotels that participate, which is absolutely correct. What's the issue?

The group do have quite a few hotels in N America they even have three hotels here in Argentina.
I used to have a Blacksmith membership which I got through some book offer. To be honest they have a bit of a cheek charging for it as the benefits are few considering the price you are paying for some of the hotels.

Anything for free is worth having though so ^ to the OP.
