Diners Club Club Rewards - Curious why Diners is using Western Union Speedpay...

So I scheduled my monthly payment through the DC website as I normally do.
When they withdraw the funds from my bank, it normally just shows as "Diners Club".
They were due to debit my bank account yesterday and interestingly, it is showing as payment to "Western Union SpeedPay" instead of payment to "Diners Club"...
Anybody have any thoughts ?
On another note, they were supposed to close out the monthly statement yesterday, but according to the website it still hasn't happened... frustrating, because like all of us, I was hoping to get a detailed record of what I'd actually spent during the "black hole" period of 7 Nov to 21 Nov... :(
BMO inherited this Western Union Speedpay arrangement from Citibank. I speculate that Citi originally kept Diners separate from their other card processing infrastructure because Diners Club International (which Citi also owned) processed the charges through its proprietary network. By 2005 when Citi migrated Canadian and USA cards to MasterCard they probably kept it separate with an eye to spinning off or selling Diners.
I will be surprised if BMO keeps this payment method longterm, but I was surprised to see that they created a new Club Rewards website and kept the existing account access site. I have to think there is a new site not quite ready to rollout.

A payment I made by phone on Monday posted as Diners Club in my checking account despite being told by the CSR that it would post as Western Union.
All of my activity through November 23 is posted on the website. However the opening balance is missing, as is the minimum payment (i.e. prior month's bill.) So I couldn't pay online as my payment exceeded the balance that was showing.
My payment posted as: ELECTRONIC/ACH DEBIT Diners Club DINERS PMT

Mine was posted as Western Union Speedpay as well. Not worried because Diners Club has used this payment method for years.

Are they using standard credit card times now?
