Can anyone recommend a restaurant for Christmas Lunch (staying at the NY Hilton)? Preferably the standard (European) Turkey lunch.

I'm not sure about the traditional European turkey lunch, but in case this can help, here's Eater's list of restaurants open on Christmas Day (http://ny.eater.com/archives/2011/12/christmas_dining.php).

I'd also suggest searching Open Table for which restaurants are open on the 25th.

You should also check out some of the nicer hotels. Had a wonderful (and $$$$$) dinner at the Peninsula one year.

There are plenty of good restaurants that are open on Christmas Day. No reason to go to crappy ones.
