Hilton HHonors - Received two diamond cards in Feb

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else and has already been reported here. Anyway, sometime early in February I got my Diamond package for 2003. The card expiration date was 04/2005. That's right 2005! Two weeks later I got a second package, identical to the first one with a card that expires 04/2004. No note saying to throw away the first card or anything.

I guess I could keep the 04/2005 card but I assume that it would do very little for me as the hilton system would expire my status in 2004 and the card would mean nothing then.

Has this happend to anyone else this year?

Me too! Received the 2005 card a month ago and the 2004 card last week.

I haven't even received one diamond card yet. Is anyone else still awaiting their packet?

Just did and they both have my name on them. There is only one of me in outside of Europe so I am pretty sure I'm not you...

As of last Thursday (travelling now) had not received my new Diamond kit.

Same thing happened to me.
Got a card expiring in 2004 in Jan.
Them got a card expiring in 2005 in Feb.

Here's what I understand:

Apparently the card itself is good until the latest date for which it is issued.

The HHonors Diamond benefits, on the other hard, expire when you no longer qualify.

Think if it like a driver's license.
It may be issued for 7 years.
If, however, you commit DUI several times and have your privileges suspended (without forking over the license) it is, in appearance, still valid... but it's not.
