I called to check my account balance at 1-800-552-0852 and the message starts with a registration offer for a double, triple, quadruple miles promotion for Hilton stays in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
I quickly looked at the HHonors site, but don't see any details. I don't know the terms for the promo.

I also registered. Today through 4/15/2003.
First stay 1k miles,
Second stay 1.5k miles,
Third stay 2k miles.
I asked the CSR about subsequent stays but it appears that is all (no further bonus).
For those interested in NYC properties, Doubletree, Hilton NY (6th ave), Hilton Times Square are all included.

Interesting. I just called the automated line and an opertor picked up. After giving her my information and requesting to be registered for the promo, she said I didn't have to register because it would automatically happen when I stayed at one of the participating hotels. So, hopefully she gave me the correct info and I don't need to do anything.

According to the fax I received...
EWR-COflyer there is no mention of a RATE code but there is the promo code (as already posted): NEMA.
And minnie, I don't think that CSR knew what she was talking about. RoyNWAA was quoting the fax (caps and *'s verbatim): <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Start Date: 15-Jan-2003 End Date: 15-Apr-2003
Promotion Offer: Earn 1,000 miles for the fist stay. Earn 1,500 miles for the second stay. Earn 2,000 Miles for the third stay. ** ALL THREE STAYS MUST BE CONSUMED DURING THE OFFER DATES. MUST CALL TO REGISTER FOR THE PROMOTION...PROMO CODE IS NEMA. IF THIS CODE ISN'T ON THEIR ACCOUNT, THEY WILL NOT GET THE MILES****"</font>
And as already mentioned it lists partners as CO, DL, NW, UA, US, WN (Southwest). I guess with WN it will be 1, 1.5, then 2 Rapid Rewards credits, since their normal credit is .5? There is no explanation for WN.
Of course, they also think Perth NSW is in the United States! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif

so does anyone know what rates qualify? the parmelia hilton in Perth, Australia has some reasonably good rates, particularly on the weekends. Around US$50 upwards per night. I have seen a rate of A$99 there a night a while back for Friday's, unsure if it's still available. Anyone have any luck getting a good rate for this hotel? I plan to be there in March and 4,500 UA miles would be very nice indeed plus HH points for 3 seperate stays.
Rut Dog
Jan 17, 03, 11:37 pm
Since the details do not mention any rate or rate code, I would think it's safe to assume any rate that would earn points and miles would qualify (no prepaid rates a la Priceline, Hotwire, etc.).
You can always call and ask an HH rep to fax you the promo. They just have the printouts at their desk, and they have to fax them manually.
And if you're serious about Perth, I'd confirm that. It is quite likely an error. The property code is PERHITW, and I bet if you play around with one of those letters long enough, it will match a property code of a hotel in NE USA.
I doubt they'll honor an honest (and obvious) error. Of course, you never know.

I just called Hilton HHonors customer service #. After entering my HHonors# and Pin, there is an option for enrolling in Double/Triple/Quadruple mile promotion. Naturally, I pressed that option and got the reply "thanks for enrolling". Anybody know what this promotion is all about? Sorry if this is something that has been posted before.

Hello Huang, and welcome to FlyerTalk!
This promotion has already been discussed in this thread:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum57/HTML/006465.html
Thanks for posting it, though. It's always good to hear about new promos. You might try the search function to see if something has been posted previously. I searched "double triple" to find this thread.

Cool. Does anyone know if this promo could be worked retroactively? I stayed at the Doubletree Boston Bayside and didn't know about this promo.
I also don't know if there's something wrong with registering via the automated system because the automated system wouldn't accept my HH number.

Hmmm, what if you already sign up for 50% extra Hhonors points instead of miles in the other promo?

That is also my question. When listening to the phone prompts, I almost enrolled in that promo instead.

I called HH today and they had a couple of programs on their voicemail system.
"Press 1 for a 50% bonus on base points instead of airline info from 3/1->5/31 2003"
followed later in the menu by
"Press 4 to participate in double triple quadruple miles promo press"
I didn't receive my double miles (with Southwest) and I called to ask why.
I was told that payment must be with AMEX.
I post for two reasons:
1. If this is true, be sure to pay with AMEX.
2. Does anyone remember this as a condition? Does anyone have a link that would disprove this supposed requirement?
Thanks.

Yes!! they all posted. I used Continental Airlines for this promotion. After my first stay I noticed that I was only credited with 500 double dip miles. I called and they said they would credit my account. I was able to have 3 stays during the promotion period. To my surprise when the miles finally did post, I received:
For 1st stay 500 double dip miles PLUS 1,000 Listed as "Stay Threshold Promotion"
2nd stay 500 double dip miles PLUS 1,500 once again listed as 'Stay Threshold Promotion'
3rd stay 500 double dip miles PLUS 2,000 miles listed as "Stay Threshold Promotion"
6,000 miles for 3 stays... plus double AX hilton points for the stays. Not bad!!
I had been under the impression that these bonus miles would be in lieu of the normal 500 miles given. It was a pleasant surprise to find that these were given on top of their usual 500.
Just curious was anyone able to have more than 3 stays? If so, were you given a Stay Threshold Promotion bonus for these additional stays?

I haven't received my bonus mile yet, and decided to call Hilton Honor customer service. The representative found the record that I did registere for this promotion, but for some reason the bonus miles were not posted to my airline account. He tole me he will ask promotion deparment to look at my case, and I should hear from them within a couple days.
I suggest to call Hilton if it has been 8 weeks and you still haven't received your miles yet.

Has anyone gotten any promotional codes or offers from HHonors lately. I am in need to build the points back up after using 450,000 on a "Down Under" adventure. As a Diamond, I never get the promos...I always call in and ask for a promotion that is provided by my fellow FlyerTalk associates.
In search of a "multiplier" on those points...HELP! :)
