In a nutshell, they'll begin service to LAS and DFW from AZA (Williams Gateway Airport, in Mesa, AZ).

Well, actually, I believe they have free parking near the terminal. You can park the car.
You will get charge $45 for carryon fees. If you don't have a carryon bag. Then you will allow to bring a small personal items.
Getting ready for our trip in a month.
I might be leaving from PHX (since spirit only had overnight options to FLL)
What's the cheapest way to go b/t AZA and PHX? Do any of the hotels in the area have free transportation b/t both airports??

No free overnite parking per AZA website. Correct me if I'm wrong....

No hotel shuttle connecting the airports-- they're too far.
By transit, you can take the Sky Harbor Light rail shuttle to the 44th St station, the Light Rail to the eastern terminal at Sycamore, the LINK from Sycamore to Superstition Springs Mall, and the 182 bus from Superstition Springs directly to the Mesa Gateway terminal.
Another option with different schedules is the ASU campus shuttle from the downtown Tempe light rail stop to the Polytechnic campus, but that requires a 1 mile walk from the Polytechnic campus to the Mesa Gateway terminal although it saves a lot of travel time and has more frequent departures. Note that officially, ASU shuttles are for students, faculty and staff, but I don't know how strictly this is enforced. My hunch is a person with only a tote or backpack will blend in, but people with larger luggage may draw attention.
