Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - No more SQ A380 J awards for other FFPs?

I checked yesterday using the aeroplan award system, and there were availability for J on A380 flights between JFK and SIN or between SIN and SYD. But today after the usual daily website update, all the awards seem to have disappeared. Is it just me or have SQ finally caught up with the loop hole?

Nope. I just booked SIN-HKG today on SQ 856 - which is a A380 flight, in Business class.

Maybe AC's website isn't showing the availabilty ...

what ff miles are you using to book the flight if you don't mind me asking?

When I made a booking with the aeroplan call centre on tuesday, I was able to get the FRA-JFK leg of the trip with SQ! I'm looking forward to comparing it with the LH experience! Original booking was YHZ-BOS-FRA-SIN-FRA-JFK-/EWR-YHZ. Aeroplan has had an unannounced promotion so a number of J seats have been booked up snatched up!

I actually had a similar question. Is it at all possible to find SQ reward inventory in F/J between SIN and any US destinations? I tried a search using Continental's FFP and found nothing; only economy. Kinda of disappointing...

You name it. I was able to book a 388 and 77W award in J (I) class yesterday using BD miles. AC showed only X class as available.

Yes I know what you mean. BD's system was showing availability on most SQ routes whereas on AC it wasn't.

Late August FRA-SIN-NRT. Many dates were available when I called.

Are you sure? But maybe that's just for BD, not for CO I think because there's no availability on the search engine

I'm willing to search via whatever engine possible (booking with aeroplan though) and I don't see anything available. When I called last night I couldn't find anything in July. CO and Aeroplan show nothing..

Using BD miles, certainly amazing availability on SQ.^

I think LH is the only airline FFP that had award availability showing on their systems and since BD is linked (for now) to LH, they were able to book the seats. Other airlines, like AC, CO and NH were getting the restricted views and now could possibly have been locked out of the inventory.

I agree with the theory that the BD availability is ust the extra inventory that LH gets.

However it does appear that SQ opened up seats on the SYD and JFK-FRA routes for *A.
These were quickly snapped up once people discovered them on CO and AC. ANA never showed seats due to the A380 block.
