Having never flown SA before, what to expect in Y-class JNB-PER?

Comparable to LH? LX? NZ?

I had a quick look and it seems they use a 343 on this route these days. That should be a pretty good Y experience, mainly because you get a few inches more pitch than with LH or LX. I have no experience on NZ.
If you get a 342, it is bad news as they have the same pitch as LH / LX and ancient IFE (overhead screens! :td:).
The 'soft product' used to be a bit hit and miss in the past, but by most accounts it is pretty good these days. Good wines in any case!

Judging by the reservation infor and the seatmap om "checkmytrip" for the flight in question it is definately a 343. So all in all I'll look forward to that.
