Hawaii-based Airlines - Cheapest time to book a flight..

I know theres always people asking about this, but I wanted to visit my best friend in NYC (JFK) & wanted to use some Hawaiian miles saved up. The route would be HNL to JKF.

The date I am looking at is costing 25K miles One Way with about 45 seats available.

Is it true that Hawaiian releases seats at certain days of the week ? When would the best time to check? Should I check daily? If daily, what time during the day

ya i agree. i just booked it. before, when i first checked it was only 17,500K !! now that was highway robbery, wish i booked then but i did not have enough miles nor I did not know what my travel plans were.

I'll be catching a connecting flight on jet blue, that i'm booking my self from, JKF to BUF.

The 17.5k ticket is usually a great rate for a Hawaii to west coast or vice versa one way trip
So for an additional 7.5k you get that and a cross mainland flight!
