I've never been anywhere outside Pakistan. and I want to visit India. I have a few friends in India, which I met over Internet, and now as years passed, we have very good family relationships. Family of a friend in India agreed to help me in any Guarantee issue or other formalities.

Further, A classmate and a close friend has her Sister married to an Indian and now settled in Delhi. She is returning to Pakistan for a month or two and will return to India in March or April and her mother, father and sister will visit India and will join her. They have actually visited India in 2009 or 2010.

Since, I have no experience of travelling, I'm planning to go to India with them.

I have no Idea on what basis should I apply for the Visa and how to do it.

The visa takes months to get. You are aware of what happened in Mumbai on 26 Nov 2008, and you will appreciate that a visa application for a young male Pakistani (assuming that describes you) will attract special attention. But lots of Pakistanis travel to India, so it is not at all impossible if you have Indian sponsors. Just start early and be patient.

I doubt that anyone here can provide more detailed information on this special case. Ask your classmate, ask the Indian consulate, ask your sponsors, search the web, etc.

just apply for a normal tourist visa....if you have sponsorship from a family in india then that would be better....just keep in mind that it may take a while before you get the visa....
