So I have had the card for three years or so but the CC company says they will not extend the yearly 10K reward to me. I am thinking about quitting and acruing miles/points with HYatt instead since their CC company seems to be words better as far as service goes.
Anyone share this thought, or have different experiences when trying to negotiate for the 10k annual miles???

whats funny is that it should happen. Considering the amount of money some of us charge to those cards every year- there has to be a reason to keep signing up. If you already have preffered status- most of the benefits are fairly pointless for the card except for the accrual of miles themselves.
Barclay's stands to lose if they don't change their mind. For instance Hyatt offers two free nights anywhere in the world when you sign up. Then at your anniversay you get another free night every year. On top of that they give you full mid tier elite status as well as 0% foreign transaction fee and the ability to accrue miles/points.
I am just not seeing the value of the US Card after the first year. This was not meant to be a rant, just wondering if there is some flaw in my logic.
Peace!

I actually saw this too when I was suggesting to my mother she should get the card.
I've had the card for quite some time now, but any reason I couldn't just cancel the card and sign up for it again with the 10k per year bonus? Who cares about the sign up bonus as long as I can get that 10k every year.
