Hi all,
This is my first time redeeming a First Class ticket from SEA-JFK(stop)-LHR-AMS (jaw) HAN-HKG-SFO-SEA
The SEA-JFK-LHR is with AA (all in first)
LHR-AMS is BA (economy)
HAN-HKG is Dragonair (biz)
HKG-SFO is CX (first)
SFO-SEA is Alaska (first)
Total miles redeemed were 130K, ticketed through AA.
Question: Is lounge access included in an international first class ticket? If so, which airports will have this access?
Reading this article (link (http://boardingarea.com/blogs/viewfromthewing/2011/11/28/cathay-pacific-first-class-new-york-hong-kong-burn-avios-burn-cathay-pacific-first-class-and-amazing-conrad-suites/)), it seems I may have to ask for CX to grant me First Class lounges, because they may just print out Business lounges for my segments that aren't in first?
Thank you!

The http://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access/ page states
When you fly First or Business Class with a oneworld member airline, you are free to enjoy that airline’s First or Business Class lounge (depending on which class you are flying) before departure, regardless of your frequent flyer tier status. This lounge access also applies when you connect from a domestic or intra-European segment to or from a oneworld longhaul First or Business Class flight.
So I get first class lounge access throughout the entire trip?

The AA forum has a Help Desk thread specifically for these types of questions. The first post provides resources and you can post in the thread and receive assistance too. See:

Oneworld recently changed/clarified their rules for lounge access by class of service. See:

That said, I'll take a quick stab. No AA lounge in SEA, no access at AS boardroom. In JFK AA Flagship or AC lounge access. In LHR you will allowed access to the AA Arrivals Lounge if you are staying in London or if you are continuing straight thru to AMS then you should be allowed access to to the BA Galleries First or Club lounge in T5. No access to BA lounge in LHR if you are staying for awhile before continuing on to AMS. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/american-aadvantage/816641-ba-t5-aa-t3-transfer-connection-lhr-heathrow-reports-etc-consolidated.html?highlight=t5%26quot%3B+lounge+ac cess+coach+AA+%26quot%3Bfirst
HAN - nasco lounge
HKG - Wing and Pier
SFO - if booked in A class on AS you will have access to the AS Boardroom
