Hilton HHonors - Hampton Inn TaosView Full Version : Hampton Inn Taos tinkybelle Apr 28, 01, 3:18 am Cant find anoother hilton/hyatt/sheraton in the area so anyone been here-otherwise anyone got a great hotel intown?I have stayed at Sagebrush inn once before-it was really great and rustic but need something closer. Eugene Apr 28, 01, 10:46 am tinkybelle -- Hampton Inn Taos is quite new, located right off the Hwy 68, a bit far from the Central Plaza area (I'd say three miles or so). If you want something closer, I've been told that Fechin Inn (http://www.fechin-inn.com/) is a good upscale choice. unagi1 Apr 28, 01, 3:38 pm I'm partial to the Taos Inn. They have a great restaurant too. MisterNice Apr 30, 01, 8:44 am unigi1- Actually the Taos Inn has an excellent restaurant. MisterNice felis Apr 30, 01, 1:30 pm True that the hotel is a little far from the downtown. I did not check the restaurant, as there are some other nice restaurants downtown. Should have done that ! The hotel is OK. The swimming pool is a separate building, and, in winter, you if you do not want to catch a cold, just watch TV. People are nice. unagi1 Apr 30, 01, 1:58 pm MisterNice - That's what I was trying to say. gnaget Feb 9, 03, 4:04 pm Anyone stay here? This famous link http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum57/HTML/001160.html comes up in a search for Taos but it has 16 pages now. There is no comment in the spreadsheet. Thanks in advance. Seriously. I have no idea how you would find the Taos Hampton or any specific Hampton in it. Is there a search technique I'm not familiar with? It looks like I went to the old site and did not get the updated version. Taos is on there with "Good". www.blaisdells.net (http://www.blaisdells.net) has the latest version. |
