Amtrak Guest Rewards - Car rentals near Harrisburg,PA station?

Hi there,

Been years since I posted on this forum but I always found it useful.

I'm taking a train to Harrisburg and my ultimate destination is an hour away from there, and I will need a car where I'm going for the weekend anyway. I know some Amtrak stations have car rental counters right in the station, but I also know that many don't.

Are there any car rental counters at the Harrisburg station and if not, are there any within walking distance? Of course, there's always Enterprise that will pick me up from the station, but I still would like to know if I have any other choices.

I didn't know there was an airport stop, I've never taken the Keystone, Clocker or Pennsylvanian trains. I did some looking on the web and do you mean Middletown?

The Middletown stop is not actually "at" the airport, in the sense that there is currently no direct air-rail connection except a taxi. But it's definitely much closer to the Harrisburg airport than the Harrisburg Amtrak station, which is downtown. So if you can't find any suitable rental agencies downtown, the Middletown stop is a viable alternative.

The Enterprise is actually the closest rental agency to the downtown Harrisburg station:
