Before Diners was moved from CITI to BMO on Nov 07th, 2011 if you had a late payment you could call club rewards and pay a reinstatement fee and the points would go back to your account. I am being told that since Diners is now BMO, this is not practice anymore. My issue is that my forfeited points were during the CITI Diners. Has anyone else had this issue? They are keeping my 65,900 points and have opened a dispute however I have never been contacted. Surely CITI still has obligations dating before Nov 07th, 2011
Thanks

If I read it correctly forfeiture occurs after two consecutive missed payments:
If you failed to make the minimum payment by the due date shown in the first Statement and in the next month you fail to make the minimum payment by the due date shown in the second Statement, you will continue to be able to redeem Points earned up to, and including, the last day of the billing cycle for the first Statement; however, the following will occur: (i) you will not receive Points for eligible Charges billed on the second Statement, and (ii) your participation in the Program will be suspended. Should this occur, you will be required to bring your Account into Good Standing in order to restore your participation in the Program. You will commence earning Points on the day that your Account is brought back into Good Standing; however, for the avoidance of doubt, Points that would have been earned for eligible Charges billed on the second Statement are permanently forfeited.
