Fairmont President's Club - FlyerTalk Awards: Fairmont Presidents Club (Europe/Africa) benefits nominations
This poll will determine which benefit for this rewards program will appear on the January ballot for the FlyerTalk Awards.
Please note that once you have cast a poll vote, it cannot be changed.
If you have a suggestion for a name change for one of the benefits listed, according to your specific knowledge of the program, post it below; for instance, if this program’s “Bonus Points” benefit has a specific name, that specificity will help voters when ballots come out in January.
You may vote in any or all of the nominations polls across FlyerTalk. Simply navigate to your favorite program’s forum and cast your vote!
Polls open Monday November 28, 2011
Polls close Friday December 9, 2011

Same suggestions...
1) airline miles (FPC is not a points-based program!)
2) confirmed room upgrade certificates
3) confirmed suite upgrade certificates
4) third-night free / free night certificate
5) guaranteed early check-in / late check-out

I concur with Jasper 2009.. with emphasis on his number 3..
Like to add..
The early qualification kit with full benefits on the balance of the initial membership year is critical and the best feature for new members imo.. If members qualify and there is no early qualification kit, then members won't stay very much at Fairmonts for the balance of the initial year, until the beginning of next membership year when FPC elite members do receive their kits..
The early qualification kit builds loyalty quickly, and gets new members hooked.. something that Fairmont wants to see and generates revenue..
The Passions Benefits for Platinum Members has been a wonderful addition to benefits this year.. customizing the program to the specific interests of each elite member.. Passion Benefits includes 4 choices from a comprehensive list to choose from including free round of golf, manicure/pedicure, golf lesson, Fairmont tea collection set, Sports Bag, etc..
I also discovered that the Fairmont Fit program is a hit, and is unique compared to other hotel programs.. feedback from FT travel fitness forum..
Great Rates Great Dates and Friends and Family Rates are very popular as well..
Excellent feedback.
I'll be adding/changing some items to the poll, but there is some overlap and poll slots are limited:
1. Airline miles (replacing bonus points)
2. Confirmed Room/Suite Upgrade Certificates (replacing room upgrades)
3. Guaranteed early check-in/late check-out
4. Other
5. Third Night Free/Free Night Certificate
6. Early Qualification Kit
7. Passion Benefits (Platinum)
8. Fairmont Fit program
9. Great Rates Great Dates
10. Friends and Family Rates
If you have already voted "other, please indicate a first choice of benefit and your vote will be counted manually.
Thank you!

I´d suggest dropping the "Family and Friends" entry as the FAF is not available to the general public. (unlike the Club Carlson or Intercontinental FAF rates)
There was a promo in 2009 where anybody could book the FAF rate on the Fairmont website (using an employee´s ID number who in return got a kickback), in 2010 Fairmont went back to the old model where the employee had to mauelle make the booking, and recently the kickback for the employee was also eliminated.
So for all intents and purposes the FAF rate is dead unless you actually personally know a Fairmont employee.
I'll leave it up for now; it's unlikely to get many votes, as you said, but if someone really wants to vote for it and has access to it -- just as higher level benefits are available for all to vote on -- they still can.
Thanks again for your excellent feedback, it really improves the Awards experience :)
