View Full Version : SK Special Offers in December?

I have some upcoming travel in February and my preferred routing would be SK on the IAD-CPH route. (My itinerary would be IAD-CPH-TLL and back).

The prices are quite good at the moment. However, doesn't SK typically have some special offers in December, like some kind of Christmas offer? Would it be worth waiting a few days to see what happens with that, or would they not offer such special deals on the route like I'm interested in (the CPH-TLL leg is a code-share with OV)?

There are other routings on other carriers for a similar price, so if I don't get SK, it's fine with me. However SK is my preferred option to stay within *A on this route.

Hi,

I would book the award right away if there is availability. If a better deal shows up later, you can always make a new booking and cancel this one (awards are fully refundable until 24h before departure).

Sorry I wasn't clear in my previous message. This isn't an award ticket, but rather just buying a normal ticket, and probably in economy class unless there's a special sale on C-class.

So I guess I just want to know if SK typically has some special sales in December that I may want to hold out for.

IIRC the Christmas calendar was no more as of last year.
If you got a decent routing and price available now - book it. Some years back SK had some Christmas offers, but there were restrictions on travel period and the savings were not that great.

Personally I like the idea with a X-mas calendar - I have used the offers - and it is fun to wait for the 24th
