I recently flew on the WAW-HEL-SIN route and back in C, and my calculations showed that this trip alone will qualify me for Silver status.
On the day of my SIN-HEL flight I received a phone call with some bad news about the flight being delayed by almost 4 hrs. So instead of departing on Thursday at 11:45pm it was moved to 3:30am, which was disappointingly annoying to say the least...
As it was inevitable that I would miss my HEL-WAW connection, AY was kind enough to rebook me on the next flight which was on LO, also in C. Kudos to them for doing that.
Although they haven't credited the SIN-HEL flight to my account yet, am I right to assume they won't give me any miles for the HEL-WAW connection since they moved me to LO? If so, is there any chance of them bumping my status early as I was originally scheduled to fly with them and would have done so if not for that almost 4 hr delay out of SIN?
