I'm planning to fly SSA - GIG on TAM on one reservation, and then on a seperate reservation I'm flying COPA from GIG to NYC, via Panama. If I book the 2 reservations, I'll only have a an hour between flights in GIG.

Will TAM check my baggage all the way through to NYC with COPA?

no...one hour is not enough time for the GIG connection anyway.

Doesn't Gol have some kind of agreement with CM?
