Hilton HHonors - Hilton's in Europe

Anyone have information about the Brussels City? I have only gotten info on the one located on Waterloo or something like that but the MILES stretch MUCH MUCH farther at the City location.

Also how hard would it be to get 1 weeknight at the Paris Hilton (near Eiffel Tower)??

Then I need 2 nights in Amsterdam...

would love any feedback/info you can offer on the locations compared to the attractions/trains/getting around....

I was there on a point-stretcher last July. The area just outside Hilton Brussels City is a little seedy-looking - there's a metro stop right out front - but a busy shopping street/pedestian mall begins just across the street and you can walk that down to the city center. The hotel itself was OK, but they only gave me 10 Euros off the expensive buffet breakfast for my Gold amenity, and only after I complained. No free breakfast there. I ate one dinner there, it was OK, but small portions and expensive. Not worth the price in my opinion. There was a fruit basket in my room on arrival. No chocolates, though. They have a little business center near the exercise room with internet access.

Metro access was great, of course. You can get various multi-trip cards for not too much.
From the airport, you take the train to Gare du Nord, then the Metro one stop to Place Rogier.

thanks for the input...I have heard it was seedy from the folks on Fodors. I am just looking for clean room and bathroom to sleep in and hold my stuff. The points are so low for that hotel I plan to use it as base to travel to Brugge and possibly Luxembourg.

We are now going to Europe June 5th-15th. Just gotta hope for point rooms availability with our switch last night from September to June.

Can't speak to the Brussels Hilton, but the Amsterdam City Hilton is superb, if a bit outside the city center. All the Hilton International hotels I have stayed in have been top notch and very aware of the Honors program.
