Starwood Preferred Guest - Jacksonville, FL Aloft - Airport or Tapestry Park?

Any suggestions? The reviews on Tapestry Park seem pretty awful, but it is a newer hotel. Has anyone stayed at either recently? Looking to go down there the beginning of January.

This a new hotel. Almost has a european feel to it. Close to the airport. Nice little WXYZ bar in the lobby area. Nice workout room and friendly staff. Great location where there is a shopping mall area right across the street with pretty much and big name restaurants and fast food areas. Also a good selection of shopping as well. Also a movie theatre. And about 27 min from jax beaches. Hope you enjoy

Tapestry park is in an area of town with restaurants, bars, clubs nearby (30 mins from the airport). Depending on the day it is a pretty happening area. The airport hotel is just next to a shopping center, otherwise deserted. If you are planning on doing something other than sleeping, I would chose the tapestry park one.
