Here is the deal: For every $25 worth of Gift Card by Email (eGift Card) purchased, the purchaser receives a $5 eGift Card. Limited time offer. You will receive one eGift Card based on your total purchase. See Reward Chart at right for reward values. eGift Card purchase total is limited to $150 per single transaction. Please see additional terms on the Terms and Conditions page. Didn't say anything in the terms and conditions. Don't know how long this will last. ohnodapopo Nov 25, 11, 4:11 pm I scoured the site and can't find anything about limits. the only reference is "limit $150 per transaction" but no mention about limits on number of transactions. ohnodapopo Nov 25, 11, 4:30 pm FYI, when the card comes into your email box a big fat "Cannot be used for money orders or prepaid cards" is on the certificate. Bidkat Nov 26, 11, 12:07 am CVS is no bargain, seemingly charging List Price + 10% on everything. But if you work it, REALLY work it . . . using your CVS card and those occasional $20-for-$16 coupons on sale items, you can make a go of it. Lost half my remaining brain cells trying to reach $20 per trip without going over . . . brokestudent Nov 26, 11, 2:32 pm Totally different experience for me...I bought over $100 stuff at CVS for $8 out of pocket this weekend. Check out sites like southernsavers.com and iheartcvs.com for strategies. cordelli Nov 26, 11, 4:48 pm CVS is no bargain, seemingly charging List Price + 10% on everything.. Not my experience at all. When they have a sale, it can be an incredible sale. Two liter bottles of coke products for sixty nine cents when everybody else is $1.79, batteries for half the price of the box stores, buy one get one free lots of times, etc. Maybe not all the time, but if you work it right you can get out of there with a ton of stuff for very little money, and often with coupons on the receipt to buy more stuff. lin821 Nov 27, 11, 8:46 am CVS is no bargain, seemingly charging List Price + 10% on everything. If you are the type who always pays sticker price and doesn't bother with coupons, rebates & incentives, then yes, CVS is, indeed, no bargain. However, if you are in the game for ExtraBucks and pay attention to the weekly deals/promo over SD and FW, you can easily make profit from CVSing. I lost count of how many freebies (cokes, eggs, pizzas, soft drinks, OJ, toothpastes, lotions, shampoo, lipsticks, soaps, dish detergent, laundry detergent...etc) I got from my CVSing days and never-ending charity donations of toiletries & blood glucose monitors I otherwise wouldn't have been able to afford when I was based in the States. ps. I even got this 7" LCD TV for free from CVS in 2009 (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/11178196-post16.html), using my hard-earned ExtraBucks. :D There's also this old thread about CVS ExtraBucks on FT: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/s-p-m/796438-cvs-extra-care-bucks.html mikeef Nov 28, 11, 12:38 pm Totally different experience for me...I bought over $100 stuff at CVS for $8 out of pocket this weekend.
