I arrived (check in) at 1am Jan 1 Vancouver Hampton Inn, left Jan 2, 11am, they charged me for two nights, but got only one night credit? When does your 2003 nights start?, or do you think its mistake because of the check in time?

1am on January 1st is really the night of December 31st. So that counts towards 2002. Did you get points for two nights?

It is because of your check-in time. Whenever you check in after midninght (and hotel did not pre-check you in, which happens from time to time at some properties), your account will show a stay, but not a night (or at least not the first night). This means that you can end up having more stays than nights! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
If this is going to impact your VIP qualification, you may want to contact HH and see if they can manually adjust.

It's not really a mistake, more of a computer thing, since they probably didn't check you in before midnight, hence only the one night credit. If you need the stays, they will probably easily correct it with a phone call.

Well maybe I will call to see if add to nights count. Thanks for the tips.
Also I paid some of the balace with extra Canadain currency I had, and they I think did give credit for this it seems (or very bad exchange rate ??)
Just a reminder when leaving Vancouver airport, keep some cash for the airport imporvement fee, I did not keep any cash for this !
