This is my first visit to the site so apologies for the dumb question. I am Executive Platinum with AA and was given Gold status by HHonors a few years back. Just wanted to check that this is the correct level and if so what is the easiest way to qualify for Diamond from this position?

Yes, gold is the highest Hilton comps AA Plat & ExPlat members. The only way to get Diamond in HHonors is to stay at Hilton properties. Some have posted that they were comped to Diamond status. I am not sure what you need to get this. I would think top tier in one of the other major hotel programs or be in a very high position and the decision maker for your compnay. Who knows. We easily make Diamond by stays so have never needed to ask for a comp.

Thanks MoreMilesPlease. Second dumb question - how many stays/nights do you need to earn DiamondY I do about 15 stays a year of maybe 25 nights in all - I guess I'm not even close?

28 stays, or 60 nights, or 100,000 base HH points (spend $10,000 at HH properties).
