Hilton HHonors - New Phone Reservation Feature

I was just making some reservations on the phone and was prompted to enter my HHonors #. I did. When the lady picked up, she knew who I was. So the software actually works (as opposed to Diners Club, where you enter your card 3 or 4 times and when you finally get a human, they have no idea who you are)!

She said this feature was just turned on at 2pm today! She said other improvements were coming in the telephone reservation system...

They probably have a very good idea who you are, but for security reasons want you to tell them so they can see if it's you or not. It's extreamly doubtful they don't know who you are either by inputting your card number of their caller ID system.
