I think we've heard these tips before.

Wish she had talked about how much easier and safer it is when you buy a seat but I have a feeling she has only limited experience with only one lap baby.

Oh and that sucking tip again!!! Wish we could put that one to rest for good. More children are going to be jostled awake and forced to suck on something for take-off and landing thanks to that unhelpful and unnecessary tip! Ugh!

well to be fair she was referring to toddlers over 2 from what i gathered so with a seat than without a seat, neither did she say wake anyone up because she notes at that age they are unlikely to sleep at all!

I'm always nervous with too much product promotion in these kinds of articles but what was the verdict on this board on the Trunki? I wish they were around when mine were little enough to use one.

there was a discussion a while back, i think it was more in favour than out but the general feeling was that the US one isn't as well made but is cheaper.. trunki in the uk isnt exactly cheap but ours has lasted 4 years now and still going strong :)

Oooh, do you want me to chime in again about it? :D

I continue to see people tripping over them or stopping short in UK and German airports.

I still think that they are a menace in busy terminals because most people don't expect something cutting one off at that low level, and they could be dangerous to both children and adults.

A parent towing a child when it isn't that busy I don't think is an issue, or a child sitting on it whilst waiting at the gate etc, but a child 'driving' one around a busy terminal may not be the best or safest use of it.
