Just want to post a question who flew in J for eithad. I know there a limo service. What if my whole family of 3 is traveling on J. Do we get 3 limos???
The issue here is that we are going on a rather long trip and we are afraid that one limo cant fit all 3 bags.

I agree with what Jinxy said. Up to one limo per qualifying passenger, so explain your quantity of baggage and order two if that is required.
Make sure that any limo ordering is well before the 24hr window before the first ticketed flight.
Let us know how Etihad's limo agency handled your request.

Somewhat related question about Etihad limo.
Plan on traveling (AA award) KWI - AUH (forced overnight)-JFK- SFO.
KWI-AUH is in J, AUH-JFK in F.
Is there any limo service available for us (either on arrival to AUH or departure from AUH)?
TIA

Actually no, transit pax do not qualify for a limousine on EY. Transit is defined as less than 24 hours by the airline.

Sorry must of skipped the word transit!
Still worth giving them a call....EY's service with limo's is actually very good and reliable

Integration between EY and AA is hardly seamless. If it's any consolation, AA totally botched our booking on Christmas Eve by spelling the name of the second pax incorrectly, despite having her AAdvantage account in front of them to deduct the miles from. It resulted in a cancelled ticket, the award availability was gone and we had to rearrange all of our plans.
Judging by your initial and departure airports, there is no limousine service. See http://www.etihadairways.com/sites/etihad/global/en/experienceetihad/attheairport/pages/GuestTransfer.aspx
Also note the fine print on transit pax.

It was at LHR. I didn't do a stopover, just had 3 hrs there. 15 mins massage was ok, TG has them beat at BKK by a long shot. I suggest for all those on 2am (or so) flights to eat at the lounge, then sleep, as they don't do a full dinner service.

Only exclusions from limo AFAIK are destinations where there isn't one, transit at AUH, and any situation you find yourself in where you can't satisfy the 48 hour advance booking requirement (last minute ticket purchase, airport upgrades, op-ups).

IIRC, if you redeem miles for a ticket on Etihad, you're still eligible for limo service.
The other time you are not eligible is if you book the EY flight as an AA code-share or VA code-share (EY operated by AA/VA flight number). In this case, Etihad does not provide chauffeur service.

A note of caution if anyone is thinking of using the EY limo service on arrival in DUB. Limos are not allowed to use the dedicated bus/taxi lanes. From EY045 ( 0750 arrival) the limo to Heuston station took 70 minutes on a midweek morning. I missed the prebooked train for ORK. Bus would have been quicker.

I dare say this is because the airport was full, and not a dedicated limo service because you were in transit.

Worked for me using AA miles. Once you book your ticket, get the EY PNR as well. Go to their website:
Enter details and if it lets you book it, you should be ok.

That is wrong
• Code share flights:
a. All guest holding code-share ticketed, marketed by other airlines but operated by Etihad are eligible for Etihad Chauffer service.
b. Other airline operated flights marketed by Etihad are not eligible.

When you phone to confirm, they ask you the exact timings in case you live up a country track miles from anywhere. I get there about 90 minutes before the flight and noboidy seems to worry..
Just remember the lounge is OK but it really is only a lounge....

If you're arriving into LGA on an EY flight then I see no reason why not.
Call them and ask. Unless its specifically excluded in their T&Cs I can't see why they'd refuse.
Wozza2404

Having re-read that it seems more likely you're arriving into LGA on another carrier and departing JFK on EY?
This makes it trickier, as I doubt the limo would park to wait for you, so you'd have to guarantee that you'd be outside waiting for it. That would be my best guess, but call them and ask.

I usually get a phone call the day before travelling.
One week ago I flew to Bangkok's Don Meuang airport landing 21.30 and departing on Etihad at 03.00 Suvarnabhumi airport, they picked me up without any problem at DMK, it's a 50km trip.
Bad idea really to open a LCC airport (Oct first) 50kms from the main airport, so called to de-congest a newly opened airport (6 years) and awaiting investments to expand the new airport.
Reality is they now have the new airport good for 45 million passengers and the old, good for 35 million.
No expansion needed, millions of travellers will need to commute and add 2h of travel time.
AOT (Airport Of Thailand) don't care for travellers needs.
Seems they have a free bus running every 30 min for those who can't/won't afford a taxi.

Just planning a future trip and have a few questions.
There are 3 of us going to be traveling in our family from BKK-DXB one way in J Class.
As I am making 3 seperate bookings on the website for the 3 of us I assume we can all get a limo each (Prefer Sedans) if we need?
If so would timing all 3 of the limos to collect us at the same time be problematic?
How long before departure and after arrive is collection (or is that something you organise with their team)?
Lastly how long is the drive from AUH-DXB specifically the Jeremiah Beach in DXB (have heard everything from 1hr to 1hr45min as its further out)?

You'll find the link company will over you a large limo if you are all being picked up at the same address, or the others can be picked up en route.
You could insist on 3, but you will find that you'll be picked up, and arrive at different times.

Unsure about J class, but F class in Australia is a choice of a Holden Statesman (used to be an Audi but has been downgraded) or for 2 or more pax with luggage than a Mercedes Viano.

I assume you mean BKK-AUH. At AUH there are plenty of limos in line. It has to be prebooked but you organize it on spot. Just go to the desk, and your booking should be ready.
Check out the distance to hotel by google maps but depending of the time of day I doubt the driving time will be that much based on memory.

AUH to DXB (Jumeira) is an hour in quiet traffic. Then again, I've also known it take 3 hours. Traffic is unpredictable in the UAE.

AUH-Jumeirah Hilton should take circa 45/50 mins. Maybe an hour. Traffic can be bad but that's the same as anywhere IME & you would be unlucky for it to take longer than an hour.

Are you supposed to receive a confirmation e-mail confirming your pickup from Etihad or the limo company at the time you set up the car service? My reservation was booked as an AA codeshare, operated by EY, and my transportation shows as unconfirmed on EY's website. The call center said I will receive a call from the limo company 48 hours prior to departure, but my concern is that this call will never come, and I'd like to have some proof it was set up. I need to the car service to take my wife and I from AUH to our hotel in Dubai and would hate to arrive in AUH without a car waiting and have to scramble at the last minute to get us to Dubai.

I never get any email confirmation. I do usually get a phone call, thought. Be warned, it's literally a "9.30am at your hotel, OK? Great. Bye".
Take a screenshot to show you've booked the car, and if no confirmation comes via phone, you'll be able to get a transfer at the airport anyway. There are always a line of Etihad drivers waiting to take J/F pax as there are so many arriving at any one time.

Good to know you never get an e-mail confirmation and that you can also get the cars upon landing in AUH. It shows up as unconfirmed on EY's website, but the call center is saying its confirmed and to call EY 48 hours ahead of time just to re-confirm and that I should also get a phone call from the service around 48 hours prior to departure as well.
My concern is that nothing will happen and I wanted to be able to show them proof of confirmation, but it looks like that's not possible (I like to have all my ducks in a row with all my details with me in case there are any issues lol). I'll just go with what the call center told me for now, and follow up as they told me, knowing that I can always get a car upon arrival at AUH to take us to Dubai.

If you've heard nothing 24-12 hours before your flight, give EY a call. If it was picking you up to head to LHR, for example, I'd be a little more concerned. But in AUH, there are always cars around. I've even managed to pick one up when I've been on a Plusgrade upgrade, and therefore not technically entitled to one.

I'm not a massive fan of EY's F product vs EK's (assuming you're on the A380). However I always try and fly EY J over EK J, as I find it far superior.

Great review. I echo your feelings regarding BA F vs EK F, although BA is still really good (better than what I'm used to on AA, although I feel AA's new 777-300 F my have caught BAs). We are flying EY J (F doesn't appear to be even offered on our ORD-AUH flight) this time, which does appear nicer than EK J since the seats appear to be staggered on EY. The wife and I cashed in some AA miles for November of this year to travel F on EY from LHR-MLE, never travelled EY F so I'll be interested to compare their suites to the EK suites.
One more question on the car service, assuming it works out, does the driver greet you upon exiting immigration at AUH with a sign or is there a special EY Chauffeur service desk in the arrivals hall? I've actually never used an airline provided car service, despite having the option in the past, so this will be a first for me.

EY J is great. Every seat have aisle access without tripping over the person next to you (watch and learn, EK and BA).
There's a desk. It's well signposted, but it's just to the right of the exit doors as you come through into the arrivals hall.
