Hi,

I have some questions regarding Norwegian - hope it is ok to post them here.

1.
What is the Airport Lounge Destination for Norwegian - is it operated by some other airlines, does it cost something or is it free?

2.
Do you get blankets and/or pillows on board when travelling with Norwegian?

Do you know of any website where you can compare different things between airlines - things like:
Child discount, Check-in baggage,Seat selection, Seat pitch,WiFi and so on.

Welcome to FlyerTalk, Imageree! :)

I don't any experience with Norwegian, so I unfortunately can't offer any guidance on questions 1 or 2.

As for seat selection, pitch, preferred seats, wifi: sites like www.seatguru.com or www.seatexpert.com are often useful. However, it doesn't seem like they cover Norwegian, so that's not terrible helpful for you. :(

Since your query is specific to one airline, we'll move it to the appropriate airline(s)-specific forum. Thanks! /JY1024, TraveBuzz co-moderator

Norwegian doesn't have any lounges, nor do they provide access to third party lounges.

Not that I've ever seen. Maybe on the really long flights (such as Dubai), but keep in mind that Norwegian in an LCC, so you're more likely to have to buy them anyway ;)

Just booked with them, so here are some answers...
(1) No lounges that I am aware of
(2) Children 2-11 receieved a slight discount (10-15% off the top of my head)
(3) No pillows or blankets (from past experience)
(4) Free WiFi last time I flew within Europe
(5) Checked-in baggage cost, but I cannot say how much (booking was in Swedish krona and we did not check in bags)
(6) Seat selection cost (I think it was 60 SEK, but we did not choose to prebook seats)

Thanks a lot - this was really helpful.

So I could compare Jetblue and SAS and Southwest regarding issues similar to those mentioned above.

seatguru.com will give you some of that information (bear in mind most European airlines don't have wifi enabled aircraft due to technical limitations of not being one landmass :D)
