Alitalia MilleMiglia - Will my status appear on the boarding pass...

...or should I re-insert my frequent flyer number?

My next flights (MAN-AMS-WAW-AMS-MAN) later this week will finally bring me up to Gold with Flying Blue. My question, however, is concerning a couple of Alitalia flights I'm booked on later in December (FCO-WAW-FCO): as per title, will my status be showing on the boarding pass or is there anything I should do to make this happen? I'm fairly sure (actually, 100% sure) that I'll not get my card before my flights with Alitalia hence my question.

P.S.: all I'm bothered about, as you can imagine, is accessing the lounge.

I'm not sure the status appears on the boarding pass, although there will be FQTV. If you have either the card or a printed e-mail proving your status then you can probably ask the person at the check-in desk or in the lounge what to do.

I have to say that, the last time I made it Freccia Alata with Alitalia, I had my status updated in about 2 weeks and, shortly after, I even received the card (here in the UK), so you never know, I might be lucky and get the Flying Blue Gold card in time for my Alitalia flights :)

On the boarding rightly points out you will see "FQTV" under your name and in AZ's case on AZ flights you also see "CFA". Not sure if they write ST+ but they should do..

When flying AA with BA gold I was always shocked at the fact they ALWAYS said (when I was flying Y) "Thank you for being an Excecutive Plat, would you like a free drink from the bar?"
