I just finished (?) booking a bunch of intra-SA travel using the OneWorld South American air pass. It seems a bargain compared to LAN fares that fit my needs.
I learned a couple of things about the rules that sent me back to revise my planning:
I'm not allowed to fly the same city-pair in the same direction more than once
I'm not allowed more than 16 segments, including surface segments (e-ticket issue)
Connecting through a city e.g. EZE-SCL-LIM does not 'hide' the EZE-SCL segment, and EZE-MVD-SCL does not 'expose' it. We think; no final word from rate desk quite yet.
