Thailand - Patong: Fishing Trip Suggestions

I took a trip last time I was in Thailand that was sold by one of the street shops that sell every type of tour under the sun and it was a disaster (ie: you didnt get a fishing pole.... long story). Has anyone been on any great trips that you would reccommend?


I am looking for a 4-6 hour early morning to noon type tour if at all possible.

Not sure about Patong, but up north in Chiang Mai, I have used Leo tours and I have been very happy with him. If there's no official tour he'll make it happen. I was in a bind one afternoon and called his wife back from her way home to give him the car so he can take us where we needed to go.
