Decided not to join the TGIF promotion. I agree too many questions and 1000 points not worth it for my existing ClubCarlson account.

You don't have to indicate a Club Carlson #, you can sign up with just an e-mail.

Anyone receive the 4.5 K Carlson points? My sons signed up :D and received 50 TGIFridays points in the last week or so. But, not email from Carlson about a Goldpoints number. Wait another week or two?

A word to the wis(-er)... I unenrolled from the Club Carlson account I opened a few days ago, joined TGIF's program, then joined Club Carlson again through the TGIF 4,500 point portal, entering the TGIF number I'd just been assigned. All worked fine until I got to the point of checking my "new" Club Carlson account profile -- and my original Club Carlson number was there. Ah, well...

Sounds too slow to take advantage of the 50k promo at the same time. They must process the ClubC enrollment by hand.

Because of a scheduling glitch, I am booked tonight at a Park Inn and at a Radisson. Does anyone know if the points would post for both stays? I can easily cancel the Park Inn but the Radisson is prepaid. I don't want to cause a problem for my account and lose any points.

Same for me, enrolling in a new account one week ago today. But there was a very long alphanumeric confirmation number - which mystified the CC CSR. (They hadn't got the memo from TGIF - yet? - either.)

Shame that it takes a month for the CC # to come through, as the expiries for enrolling in promotions drift by.

My 2 sister's CC accounts came in with 0 points, any data points as to how long it takes to get the 4500 points?

We were not targeted but figured I would try to sign up my wife as I am already a member and had taken up the 50k offer. Well lo and behold email came through yesterday and the account is open with 4,500 points. And just registered for the 50k promo successfully. So now one quick mattress run at the Radisson RTP for $71 all in under AAA rate and that will be 54,500! Very nice. This will help take care of next summer's trip to London ^

These promos actually worked in my case... I had never really heard of / thought of Club Carlson prior but I have now switched all my prior Four Points stays to Country Inns. They actually won at least one customer :)

They won me over as well, as a result of this promo. I am so sick of IHG's lousy and insulting customer service, and screwed up website, that I was ripe for something like this to come along. So they have won me over as well.

I signed up with the TGIF promo but account creation did not come in time for my stay, so I created another account instantly using the Next Stay 2k promo using the same email address. My TGIF account was then created the week after my stay. Question is, how do I check the balance on the TGIF account to see if the 4500 points posted since I cannot activate account due to same email address? I would like to know balance since if 4500 points posted I would request merge accounts.

EDIT: Never mind. Could just simply call and follow voice prompts.

I persuaded my Dad to sign up for the 4500 promo (he normally will not bother with these things). He was not targeted, and his new account and the 4500 points showed up in about a week or so.

I signed up for this on 11/26/11, had a new account created within a few days. But said account still has 0 points. So I sent a message to customer service a few days ago. Received a nice reply stating: "They were over the top with the response and are working to catch up. All information is to be updated by the end of next week."

The T&C's do say 4-6 weeks, so I am patiently still waiting.

I am surprised to receive the 4,500 points, followed by the "Welcome Next Stay 2000 Bonus Points" for my first stay. Didn't expect to receive both.
