Etihad Airways Etihad Guest - No F AUH-CAI-AUH

I booked a return for 2 pax SYD-CAI via AUH in F. There was no F service on the return flight in January and my contact at Etihad confirmed that F would not be offered from CAI due to low demand.

Upon looking at my confirmation, despite having booked the flights to CAI in December, and booking F, the AUh-CAI sector is now in Business. I looked and F looks like it's been removed in late December as well.

Now, shouldn't the price be reduced given that we're not receiving F on all sectors? Not receiving F on a single sector I could live, but for the price, 2 sectors seems like a rip off. The reservation has been ticketed by AMEX Platinum travel, but not paid for yet, and are cancellable.

Oddly enough EY has F/J mix fares where you fly F between AU and AUH and the other sectors in J. I think they go for about 9100+tax. Yourholidays dot com dot au has it advertised, though I couldn't find it on EF.

I am quite surprised that they charge an amount less to europe, which is much longer distance, than to destinations in the middle east :confused:

Yeah just book it to LCA and then take MS, RJ or ME to CAI ;)
