couldnt find any master thread on it, (not referring to the HIX)

does anyone know if they have a lounge and when its opened and what they offer in it? and does this place Upgrade Plats?

I don't recall ever seeing a lounge there. Regarding upgrades, I only know of a handful of people who stayed there, but none with plat status.

I'll take it that the 24 Lounge mentioned on the site is just probably a bar rather then a Exec Club, thought since they have Exec Rooms theyd have an Exec Lounge as well

btw being Plat is nothing just get 60k a yr anyway and its yours, so get the CC and there you go

Maybe I should have kept my Sheraton res, but got to use up my PC pts someday and the HI is 10-15 mins closer to where I want to be

From what I heard the rooms are nice in the HI. Also the overall hotel is nice. I picked up people from there, and saw the lobby and some parts of the hotel.

Loved the location 1 tram stop from the main train station or a &à min walk. Location was Great cross the street you rode the tram down and in 3 mins youre standing in Old Town Sq

stayed Sun night at the Radisson Blu and I missed the HI! no lounge at either just liked the HI overall at the Rad I was told come back later as all the standard rooms had to be cleaned, asked about an Upgrade was told no Biz rooms avaiable so I would hav eto pay for the Jr Suite. When I returned I asked about an up got the same up sell, so I said I hope when I get up to my room and log on and go to Radisson.com that it wont show me Exec rooms for sale. Then got well let me recheck we do get last minute cancelations, Hey I guess it was my lucky day seems someone did CX

When I checked into the HI on Fri before I could say anything they informed me that I was upgraded due to my Plat status and gave me a coupon for a free drink as well, now why cant all the Hotels do it this way
